If you’re creative, innovative and based in/ visiting Cape Town 9 – 18 September 2011, it turns out, that’s entirely possible. It’s called Creative Week, and while it doesn’t giving away food, per se, it gives Cape Town a chance to show off and shine.
What is Creative Week?
Creative Week Cape Town is a city-wide initiative that encourages and promotes the work of its creative practitioners, from the arts to business innovation.
With the help of Creative Cape Town, The Loeries and friends, Cape Town shows off, showcases and shows visitors and residents a good time9 – 18 September 2011.
Last year featured inter-cultural debate, art exhibitions, educational institution open days, parties and entertainment. This year The Fringe is the festival hub, our creative base. Creative Week 2011 includes an official Creative Week Cape Town 2011 launch party , the release of the Creative Cape Town Annual, music at The City Hall, a solid weekend of events from the Loeries and much more from everyone involved. Could that be you?
This year we are inviting you to get ahead of the game, get in there and get ready in advance for a chance at changing the cultural, creative, innovative and entertainment landscape. We want you to be part of Creative Week. So do The Loeries.
The Loeries? A fine friend!
The Loerie Awards is an annual showcase and awards ceremony recognising the efforts of creative professionals in the commercial sector. IN its 33 rd year of celebrating creativity, the beloved bird is coming to ruffle its tail feathers and praise its flock in Cape Town 16- 18 September 2011 – the tail end of Creative Week Cape Town. It brings with it The 32nd Loeries Annual – a veritable library of love showing last year’s work from around the country in one large coffee table book. Creative Week Cape Town is proud to be associated with such a fine friend, and its inspirational message for 2011:
don’t hate, create.
