Did you know that Edge of Wrong Festival is South Africa’s premier Improvisational Music festival and takes place annually in and around Cape Town. It was started by a Scandinavian musician and is now in its fifth year. It features everything from electronic, noise, free jazz and more.

Running February 25 to 28 the festival takes place largely in the central city – at The Intimate Theatre Hiddingh Campus UCT and St Georges Cathedral. Amongst the guest artists is Swiss musician Petra Ronner (courtesy of Pro Helvetia), a classically trained pianist who also does video and sound installations for art and theatre who performs with Madosini and Derek Gripper on Friday 26 at St Georges Cathedral.
