Pan African Space Station Takes Off

PASSBetween 30 September – 4 October expect to see some of the most interesting out-there music from the continent at various venues around the city, from the second year of this great music festival. Originally the Spier Music Festival and now run under the Africa Centre, the PASS Festival prides itself on bringing together critically acclaimed, but less commercially known, musical talents from Africa and its Diaspora. Expect to see stellar performances at venues such as the Slave Church, the Centre for the Book, and St Georges Cathedral as well as DJ events at All Nations in Salt River. Check out the website. Listen to the PASS Radio Station on the web or go to the station at 44 Long Street from where it will be operating for the month. Don’t forget to book, this is a festival and experience not to be missed.
