Twiice International, a popular store in the Central City selling the best in imported interior design, have formed Designfaktorii. Which aims to promote local designers in South Africa and export their original goods to international buyers. Investing in local talents and show casing them internationally will put South Africa on the world map of high-quality manufacturing.
Jonathan Barnes, Managing Director of Designfaktorii, says the company does full home interiors and customised furniture pieces. “With our strong design base and craftsman skills, we are equipping our factory to become the unquestioned leader in creating interior spaces that really work and turn heads”, he says.
Monique Braithwaite, design director and shareholder of Designfaktorii, says: “We work with a variety of materials, ranging from timber, glass, stainless steel and aluminum to stone and composites. All specialised aluminum, steel and glass work is done in our factory, and all outsourced work is closely managed by our team of qualified engineers and industrial designers”.
