the hip: khulumakahle (or FTH:K) is a celebrated theatre – self styled as a “young, funky, Deaf/hearing integrated theatre company” is hosting two productions at the Intimate Theatre in Orange Street.  See Ek Roep Vir Jou Vanannd 27 – 31 October (7 -8pm) tickets cost R30.  Quack – is a “fresh”, “exciting”, “visually compelling”, “nightmarish” and “frightening” Afro-gothic fantasy of desperate hope and dodgy deeds” which played to sold out houses at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown.  See it from 10 – 21 November (8.15 – 9.15pm).
